About Us
The Robinson Street Medical Centre is located on the campus of the Camperdown Hospital; Dr. John Menzies has been consulting in Camperdown for more than 30 years. We are an accredited training practice and regularly host training doctors/medical students who have an interest in Rural Medicine, and may be present during your consultation*.
*Our staff will always ask for your consent prior to your consultation, you are free to decline at any time.
About our consultations:
- Standard consults at the clinic are 15 minutes; if you think you will require more time with your GP please let our reception staff know when you book an appointment and we will be happy to accommodate your request. If you do not inform us of your needs, you may be asked by your GP to book another appointment to discuss any remaining issues.
- Our practice seeks to run on time, but occasionally this is not possible for a multitude of reasons; your clinician may be attending an emergency at the hospital, treating a distressed or elderly patient who requires extra time, and many others. Our aim is always to provide the best possible care and we will endeavour to inform you of any delays and give you an opportunity to reschedule your appointment. Your patience and consideration is always appreciated.
- Further information on the types of appointments we offer can be found here.
