Home & Other Visits
Home visits are available for regular patients of this practice whose condition prevents them from attending the surgery. A home visit will be made at the doctors discretion.
GP's in the practice may be contacted during normal opening hours. If the GP is with a patient, a message will be taken and the reception staff will advise you when it is likely that the GP will return your call.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, in some circumstances a telephone consultation may be available to patients of our clinic. Please speak to our reception staff about this service.
If you require a referral to a Specialist it is necessary to make an appointment and see your doctor. If you already have, or are making an appointment with your Specialist, please ensure you allow plenty of time to visit your GP to obtain a new or updated referral.
Patients needing a repeat prescription for regular medications will need to make an appointment to see a GP. Please mention to our receptionist that you need a repeat and they will make you a brief prescription only appointment. Should you wish to discuss other matters with your doctor at the same time, a standard appointment will be required.
Our practice has a systematic process in place for providing you with preventative care. This includes National and State based reminder registers.
Reminders are conducted for various conditions and reasons such as immunisation, diabetic care, chronic disease management, cervical screening and colonoscopies. If you do not wish to be on our reminder systems please advise our staff.
